Period troubles, confused!

since september 2007 i stopped the yasmin contraceptive pill. soon after my periods stopped completely and i had only 1 in december and nothing until now, im getting the start of the period , the brown discharge, and i have seen a small amount of blood when i have wiped, but it just seems to come and go, it doesnt stay. my 'period' started saturday night, and i still havent gotten past the brown discharge. i have the period pains, and i have now woken up with a temperature aswell and feeling sick
