What NFL team went 6-10, but only beat champions?

Sometime in recent history, an NFL team missed the playoffs, and had a lousy season, going 6-10, or something like that (maybe it was 7-9), but all their wins came against teams who lead their divisons, or were undefeated. Anyone remember who that was
