How do you deal with having unpopular beliefs?

This is a touchy subject for a lot of people. I'm a Texan so you know how I feel but, it's your right to feel the way you want. If your co-workers are bold enough to express their opinion in the workplace, then they should be able to stomach a differing opinion. Period. If these people are your friends, they shouldn't look differently on you because of your views. If they ostracize you, as long as they don't hinder your work, because, after all, you are there to work, not make friends, F*** 'em.
