If I have a suspended driver's license in Canada, and get pulled over in Nevada, will I be arrested?

Whoever answers, please be specific. First, would a local cop take the time to run my info? In Canada, driving while suspended due to a DUI conviction is an indictable offense which is a criminal charge. Would a police officer in Nevada arrest me and charge me? How serious is this in the U.S.? I know that in Canada, it is treated very harshly. Would they just tow the car and give me a ticket? What if I just present my pport to the officer and not my license? And also, what are the chances of getting caught if I don't commit a moving violation? Please settle this argument ;)
