Weird things are going to happen in the FUTURE?

Is it true that earth is going to get hit by meteros, and the suns going to light out in the future??? And my Teacher told me that one day, the whole world is going to crack because of an earth quake that will put cracks 10 feet bellow the ground. So creepy :D
